After graduation from Kasturba Medical College Manipal she has completed her post graduation MD, from GNDU Amritsar. She has done her Advanced training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology & Laparoscopy in New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, United States of America and United Kingdom.
Amongst many other Awards, such as the Senior Citizens award for Best Gynaecologist (doctor) of the Region, she has also been awarded the ‘’Pioneers in Healthcare’’ award by Times of India for her contribution in the field of Gynaecology in the region awarded to her by the renowned actor Dharmendra.
Recently she has been awarded the Women Achiever Award 2017 in recognition of her valuable contribution in the field of medicine, health & research. This was presented to her by The Mayor of Chandigarh, Mrs Asha Kumari Jaswal.
Dr Wadhwa is also a Faculty to various Organisations including the prestigious EISE i.e. Ethicon Institute of Scientific Education and is actively involved in Training Surgeons & Gynaecologists in Advanced Laparoscopy Techniques of Surgery in her field.
She has conducted Various Live Operative Workshops at Max Hospital Mohali, Hissar, Max Bhatinda, Jammu etc. The latest was at District Hospital Mohali which was attended by 200 Gynaecologists & Renowned Surgeons of Tricity & nearby States.
She has a team of 5 MD Gynaecologists, paediatrician, Anaesthetists and a well trained team of senior staff working under her to handle all emergencies 24* 7.
